New Video Freak - Estelle

After upset fans saw a trailer of British singer Estelle's new video Freak which will be featured on her upcoming album All Of Me, she quickly responded defending herself stating that the video is supposed to be about fun, abstract looks, and that people should view the entirety of the video before judging it.



"I think they need to wait to see the clip. I could defend myself, but it's just silly, I'm black, so how do I do blackface? Missy did the same thing with her video She's A Bitch. I refuse to defend it, I didn't put any white ring around my mouth - never that."



Video director Nabil Elderkin, who is well known for producing videos with rapper Kanye West, also defended Estelle's new video stating that he just wanted to bring out her creative vision.



"We are making a video about Estelle acting freaky and we're gonna do lots of things: turns, fingers, beauty looks, freaky looks, fast dancers, it's gonna be hot."



Freak features Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall and stresses individuality. The video will release sometime this week and her album is slated for a summer release.
